How do you play 3-13 rummy?
Eleven rounds, starting with 3 cards and growing to 13. Each turn you draw from the deck or the discard pile, then discard one card. Collect runs (3+ cards of one suit in a row) and sets (3+ of the same rank). The card matching the round number is wild — 3s in the first round, up to Kings — and jokers are always wild. When every card left in your hand fits a run or set, go out; everyone else gets one last turn, and their unmatched cards count against them. Lowest total after the final round wins.
Do my friends need to install anything?
No. You send them a link, they tap it, type a name once, and they're at the table. It works in any phone browser. If you like, you can add the game to your home screen and it behaves like an app.
Can I play by myself?
Yes — practice against the reef bots any time. They draw, discard and go out just like people do, only with worse manners.
What if someone's phone dies mid-game?
Their seat waits for them. Reopen the invite link with the same name and their hand is right where they left it. While they're gone, the game quietly plays their turns after a grace period so nobody's stuck waiting.
Who made this?
Built for game night. The reef — corals, seagrass, sand and rock formations — comes from the maker's own Beneath the Blue reef pipeline; the sounds are synthesized live in your browser, and the sea-creature portraits are original artwork.
